For 2004 we are reinstating the popular opening
night "kick-off" party. This event has taken a
number of forms over the years including a number of
stages in Fair Park, concerts at three or more local
bars, the very successful NFL reunion for our 20th anniversary
and many other successful evenings around town.
A once-in-a-lifetime moment.

This year we are putting all our effort
into one great evening of high-energy Celtic music in
the Shannon tent at Fair Park. This tent will be
a civil engineering masterpiece, spanning the esplanade
area - across the entire pool area. The largest stage
that NTIF has ever constructed will be home to four of
the finest bands in Texas and Kansas.
Opening the evening will be the ever
popular Seamus Stout, a regular band at Trinity
Hall, the most popular Irish Bar in Dallas.
Following Seamus will be Beyond the
Pale - the traditional Celtic band that knows just
how to turn up the heat and get your toes tapping.
Then things really start to get lively
when Brothers 3 take the stage. Mark Menikos and
the Brothers can produce arrangements like no other band
in DFW.
Finally, if you haven't danced your feet
off yet, we welcome, for their first time to NTIF the
very popular band from Kansas City, Missouri, The Elders. Check
these guys out - they rock!
Your MC for the evening, and the guy who
has to keep this lot rocking, will be the oh so fashion conscious,
never wear plaid with red tennis shoes, Mr. Micheal
Price!
Grounds open at 5:30 pm, first set at
